How it all started…
Hey there! Zach here. Co-founder of Nexus Homebuyers.
My business partner Matt and I met over a mutual love of real estate. I was buying houses in West Tennessee at the time and he was buying houses in Middle Tennessee. We had a strong passion for renovating older properties and restoring them into beautiful additions to our neighborhoods.
In 2017, after working on a couple of properties together, Matt and I decided to form a company together. That company became Nexus Homebuyers. And since 2017, we have helped over 200 homeowners with their real estate needs.
Since 2017, we have been one of the highest-rated home buying companies in Tennessee with a 4.9 out of 5-star rating!

Our Team
Matt
Co-founder & CEO
After working for a physical therapy company, Matt got started in real estate in 2015 with his own real estate investment company in Nashville, Tennessee. He soon decided to merge with Zach and form Nexus Homebuyers. Matt enjoys marketing and building systems for Nexus Homebuyers. We prefer to call him the “mad scientist” as he handles the behind-the-scenes side of the business. He lives on coffee and Kind bars.
Zach
Co-founder & COO
Before real estate, Zach worked in the restaurant industry and was able to successfully implement strategies and systems that helped not only produce results but overall customer satisfaction. He is able to take that experience and implement it in his own business to consistently create a customized solution for homeowners in the Knoxville area. He loves what he does and looks forward to helping you in any real estate problem you face.

Operations Manager
Matt joined Nexus from Progressive Insurance. He joined the team with a wealth of knowledge and experience in both business operations and people management. Matt has a passion for operational excellence and the people that he leads. His desire is to orchestrate and lead a team that will guide you through your experience with Nexus and ensure a smooth and comfortable process from start to finish.
Charleigh
Leasing Manager
With multiple years of working in all aspects of Leasing and Property Management, Char is a vital member of the Nexus Team. She strives daily to provide exceptional customer service to our clients and tenants. In her free time, Char enjoys being outside with her dog, Demi.
Kevin
Technical Wizard & SEO Specialist
Kevin works from behind the scenes. He makes sure that our processes work flawlessly and that team members work together on achieving our goals. He is a master of data and spreadsheets.
No need to clean or make repairs
When we say we buy houses “as-is”, we mean As-Is and in ANY condition. You don’t have to make any repairs or clean. You can walk away and leave your house exactly how it is, no matter how bad. If there’s trash, clothes, furniture, unwanted appliances, boxes, or the property is dirty, that’s ok. We can still buy your house!
